The New Satanic Sex Cult That Celebs Are Falling For
Taken at face value it was an innocent enough remark, encouraging friends to explore ‘a belief system to apply to day-to-day life to attain peacefulness’. But when Peaches Geldof chose to share her ‘religious’ convictions with her 148,000 followers on Twitter, it lifted the lid on a much more sinister world than first impressions would suggest. The socialite, 24, is a devotee of Ordo Templi Orientis, known as OTO, and even has the initials tattooed on her left forearm.
But a closer look at OTO — and Aleister Crowley, its founding ‘prophet’ — gives the lie to that assumption. Crowley, who was born into an upper-class British family in 1875, styled himself as ‘the Great Beast 666‘. He was an unabashed occultist who, prior to his death in 1947, revelled in his infamy as ‘the wickedest man in the world. Read more: http://www.dailymail.co
65 tons of DEAD FISH wash up at Rio de Janeiro Olympic rowing venue after oxygen levels plummet in torrential rain
More than 65 tonnes of dead fish washed up on Rio de Janeiro’s Olympic rowing venue after rotting plant life causes the oxygen level in the water to drop. The Brazilian authorities conducted a two-day emergency clean-up operation involving 100 municipal workers on the Rodrigo de Freitas lagoon. Earlier in the week heavy rains had washed rotten algae into the lagoon, causing oxygen levels to deplete and killing thousands of yellowtail, catfish, tilapia and sea bass.
Training for ‘all-out war’ with the West: North Korea uses live artillery in drills near border as Kim Jong Un continues threats
Posted by Endtime Headlines – North Korea has carried out a drill using live artillery near its disputed border with the South, according to official media. The exercise was personally supervised by leader Kim Jong Un, who has issued a series of inflammatory threats against South Korea and the U.S. in recent days. The drill is the latest sign of worryingly high tensions between the neighbours after North Korea cancelled the ceasefire signed at the end of the Korean War. The border where the exercise took place is seen as the most likely site of any clash between the North and the South. North Korea has threatened a nuclear war with the U.S. after being enraged by new UN sanctions and military drills being held bySouth Korean and American troops.
The £1billion ‘time machine’ which could finally reveal mysteries of the universe: World’s largest telescope will finally be turned on tomorrow
- Made up of 66 giant antennae which gather faint radio waves from space for processing by a supercomputer
- ALMA is situated in the Chile desert at 16,400ft – roughly half the cruising height of a jumbo jet and almost four times higher than Ben Nevis
- By collecting radio waves rather than optical light, ALMA can look through the dense dust clouds of deep space
It looks like it belongs in a science fiction film but this ‘time machine’ could provide us with the facts about where we came from.To be switched on tomorrow, the Atacama Large Millimeter Array, or ALMA, is the world’s most powerful telescope. It is also the highest on the planet and, at almost £1billion, the most expensive of its kind.It is hoped it will allow astronomers to learn about our origins by peering back to almost the first moments after the universe was formed.Built deep in the Chilean desert, in one of the driest places on Earth, ALMA is at an altitude of 16,400ft – roughly half the cruising height of a jumbo jet and almost four times the height of Ben Nevis.Rather than one single telescope, it is made up of 66 giant antennae which gather faint radio waves from space for processing by a supercomputer.
Costing £950million to build, including around £65million from the UK, and billed as being ‘in search of our cosmic origins’, it is hoped it will provide answers as to where the stars, the planets, and, ultimately where we came from.By collecting radio waves rather than optical light, ALMA can look through the dense dust clouds of deep space.

Rare ‘gigantic jet’ lightning spotted over China in northernmost sighting yet of the mysterious storm event that reaches space
Rare ‘gigantic jet’ lightning has been glimpsed in the skies over China, sparking fresh speculation about what causes these mysterious storm phenomena.
The tree-shaped electrical discharges, which occur above storm clouds and flash up to the edge of space, have previously only been seen over tropical and subtropical regions.
But a new study outlines a burst spotted over mainland China at 35 degrees latitude, about the same as Cyprus and the furthest north the phenomena have ever been spotted.
Scientists say their observations could shed light on the global electrical circuit and help pilots understand the risks of flying over storm clouds, but they admit they still don’t know what causes the gigantic jets. Read more: dailymail.co.uk
Thousands of squid carcasses wash up on California beaches
- A 12 mile stretch of Santa Cruz coastline is littered with squid carcasses
- Scientists believe the squid may have become disorientated after consuming toxic algae
- The public is advised not to touch or eat the squid
- This is the third such stranding in the area in the past six weeks
Marine biologists are working to uncover what caused several thousand Humboldt squid to wash ashore along the Santa Cruz County shoreline on Sunday.
Thousands of squid carcasses are littering the 12 mile stretch of coastline from Aptos to Watsonville, where the high tide may have had something do to with the sea creatures essentially committing mass suicide.
The general public is advised by scientists not to touch or eat the squid, as they may contain dangerous toxins. More at Dailymail
