Kim Jong-il’s teenage grandson said his uncle, new North Korean leader Kim Jong-un, is a “dictator” in a rare interview with a member of one of the world’s most secretive ruling families.
Sporting thick black-framed glasses, two studs in his left ear and a haircut that wouldn’t be out of place in Manhattan prep schools, Kim Han-sol told a Finnish television station he wished to “make things better” in his home country.
Kim, 17, was interviewed at the school in Bosnia where he studies.
Born in North Korea in 1995, he said he had a lonely childhood, spent mostly with his mother’s family and was isolated from his grandfather, who he never met. Kim Jong-il died last December.
“I always wanted to meet him, because I just wanted to know what kind of person he is,” Kim said of his grandfather…
